Signups for Cohort 2 are now closed!
This 6-month self-led program is designed to help you jump-start your business, launch that new course, or get closer to accomplishing your professional goals – especially the ones that have felt overwhelming or out of reach. Start with a goal or intention and by the end, you will have the tools, strategy, and support you need to create, build, plan, outline, or launch that project or idea that has felt intimidating, overwhelming, or out of reach for so long.
Led by AASECT Award-winning educator and entrepreneur Anne Hodder-Shipp, the Sexuality Professional Accelerator welcomes motivated, progressive sexuality professionals who are ready to level-up with weekly prompts, group discussion, trouble-shooting, peer support, and vulnerable realness all while building connection and community. This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 24 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Completion of this program does not ensure or guarantee AASECT certification. For further information please contact info@aasect.org. PLEASE NOTE: CE credits only apply toward time spent in the live group coaching sessions.

The Sexuality Professional Accelerator is right for you if you:
Recently completed a certification or degree & are ready to start your new career
Have been sitting on a workshop, course, or offering idea for far too long
Burn out easily and need help reigniting your professional passion
Feel frozen from imposter syndrome and need solutions for getting unstuck
Would rather get a root canal than promote or pitch yourself
Feel a bit isolated or on your own in this field and in need of supportive, like-minded community
Recognize you need help with accessibility, inclusivity, and expansiveness in your work
Hate everything about accounting, taxes, paperwork, invoices, & “numbers stuff”
Consider yourself more of a sensitive soul than a business savvy “boss”
Want to build or run a business that feels aligned with your social justice values
Need help figuring out rates, pricing, and getting over your “money issues”
Have a hard time saying “no” and might even identify as a “people pleaser”
Feel ready to put yourself out there and stop hiding or staying “small”
Have lots of ideas but need guidance, direction, and help with follow-through
Cohort 2 pricing structure:
Equity: $1,195 or $130.36/month*
Pay this rate if you are unemployed or underemployed, struggle to make ends meet, and paying the Regular rate would prevent you from meeting your housing, food, transportation, childcare, and other basic needs month to month. This is available only to people experiencing financial hardship who, without it, would not have the means to attend. There are only 2 slots available at this price. If you choose this option but can genuinely afford the Regular rate, you are taking this option away from someone who genuinely needs it.
Regular: $1,995 or $230.63/month*
This is the cost of the program. Pay this price if you consider yourself financially “stable” and that doing so will not prohibit your ability to meet your housing, food, transportation, childcare, and other basic needs month to month — even though it might mean you have to temporarily cut back on some non-essential spending.
Pay-it-Forward: $2,250 or $268.13/month*
Pay it forward and enable those who, without the Accessibility price, would not be able to attend this program. Pay this rate if you consider yourself financially “comfortable” with expendable income, and doing so will not have a noticeable or measurable impact on your finances month to month.
Payment Plan:
We have an 8-month no-interest payment plan available to everyone! To set yours up, please submit this payment plan authorization form to hello@everyonedeservessexed.com before May 20.
*This is the monthly payment plan price after the required $150 deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who “counts” as a sexuality professional?
Literally anyone who works in a field or role that discusses or is related to sex, sexuality, or sexual health. That includes sex therapists, content creators, sex educators, sex coaches, pelvic physical therapists, writers, researchers, sex workers, podcasters, activists, and more. All are welcome in the Sexuality Professional Accelerator.
When will The Sexuality Professional Accelerator start?
Signups for Cohort 2 are now open, and Day 1 starts May 22, 2024.
When and where will the group calls take place?
Group calls will take place weekly on Wednesdays from 4-5:15 p.m. Pacific Time (75 mins).
How many attendees are in each cohort?
Maximum capacity for each cohort is 8 people. We find that small group learning allows for a more connected, intimate, and engaged experience.
Can I attend from outside the U.S.?
Absolutely! If you are outside the U.S. and interested in participating, we’d love to have you. Before signing up, we recommend that you look at the time difference and what it would require from you to join the group calls in your time zone. This will allow you to decide whether it is feasible or comfortable for you to get the most out of the Sexuality Professional Accelerator. We do not make special accommodations for international attendees and we do not record our sessions. (More on that below.)
Can I attend if I’m a “newb” to the sexuality world or running a business?
You do not have to have an established business or reputation in the field, and you can certainly benefit from The Sexuality Professional Accelerator if you are just starting out. Please keep in mind, however, that some of the more introductory and basic skills you might need help with, like how to set up an LLC or find an accountant, would be better suited for your private sessions with Anne since they may be specific to you.
If you’re still not sure if this is the right fit for you, please review the weekly topic schedule on this page. If there are several that feel too intermediate or advanced for where you’re at in your career, you might benefit from starting with a more introductory-level program. EDSE and The Sexuality Professional Accelerator will be here when you’re ready!
What is the format of the group calls?
The group calls will take place via a video conferencing program called Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account to attend and there is no log-in process to join the Zoom “room.” After signing up, your confirmation email will include a Zoom link to join each group call. Please save this confirmation email! Once you click the Zoom link, you will be put in a waiting room until the Zoom “room” opens for everyone at the start time.
You will be able to attend via smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer anywhere with an internet connection. If you plan to attend in a public place, you must wear headphones so that attendees’ shares can not be overheard.
What if I can’t find the Zoom link?
Email hello@everyonedeservessexed.com and we will send it to you. If you email us when the group call has already started, please understand that we will be hosting the call and less able to respond quickly. To avoid delay, we recommend ensuring you have the link before each group call starts.
Do I have to have my camera on during the calls?
Nope! You don’t have to have your camera on for the whole call, but we do request that you have it on for the first 5 minutes so Anne can confirm who is in the space.
What if I can’t attend one of the calls?
That’s OK! This is a self-led program, so you’re in charge of how you participate and show up. There is no requirement to be present for every group call (life is complicated!).
If you anticipate punctuality may be a concern, please reach out to us at hello@everyonedeservessexed.com so Anne can be prepared for your later arrival.
Will you record any of the calls for me?
The weekly live group video calls will not be recorded due to the vulnerable and intimate nature of the discussions. We understand that this is not convenient, but it is the most effective way to ensure the confidentiality of attendees’ identities, personal information and shares, and general vulnerability.
How do I schedule the 2 private sessions with Anne?
Attendees will be provided a link that will enable them to schedule each 60-private session with Anne. These sessions must be scheduled within the duration of the Sexuality Professional Accelerator and the signup link will expire after the final program day.
What are your accessibility accommodations?
Each group call will have live AI captioning enabled, as well as a live transcript that will record the entirety of the discussion in real time. Any program materials created by EDSE will feature image descriptions and/or alt text where applicable.
Cost accessibility is provided in the form of a tiered pricing structure with two heavily discounted tickets available in each cohort.
Should you require a different or additional accessibility need, please email us at hello@everyonedeservessexed.com immediately following signup so that we can confirm whether we can accommodate. In the event that we can not, you will receive a full refund.
What/who does my payment go to?
15% of your tuition will go to EDSE’s administration, hosting, and operations costs. The remainder will be sent to Anne Hodder-Shipp as payment for creating, leading, and managing the program, and providing 2 private sessions, during its 6-month duration.
How do I pay? What payment options do you offer?
Payment is accepted via credit or debit card using Stripe. EDSE does not accept Paypal due to its hostile policies and treatment toward sexuality businesses and professionals.
If you do not have access to a credit or debit card, please email us at hello@everyonedeservessexed.com to discuss whether an alternative payment option is available and acceptable.
Do you offer payment plans or a scholarship?
Yes to a payment plan! We have a no-interest 8-month payment option available to anyone. To set this up, fill out this payment plan authorization form and submit it to hello@everyonedeservessexed.com.
In lieu of a scholarship, we have chosen to offer two heavily discounted Accessibility seats in each cohort.
Are there any hidden or additional costs associated?
There are no upsells or add-on sales that are a part of this program. You may learn about software or technology that could benefit your business or help you accomplish your goals, but EDSE does not sell anything like this nor do we profit from recommendations, referrals, or affiliate programs in any way.
What is your cancelation and refund policy?
Cancellations can be made for a full refund of the remaining balance up until 14 days of the program’s start date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the program’s start date will be refunded 50%. Cancellations made within 7 days of the training start date are not eligible for a refund.
Is there anyone who isn’t a good fit for the Sexuality Professional Accelerator?
We do not recommend that you sign up for this program if:
You don’t plan to show up to any of the group calls.
You don’t plan to participate in the group calls and just want to listen/consume others’ vulnerability and labor.
Discussing justice-oriented topics like accessibility, white supremacy, classism, patriarchy, feminism, misogyny, transphobia, fatphobia, and more make you feel too uncomfortable or angry to participate.
You don’t have the patience or ability to hold space for others who may not know as much about sex, business, justice, or language as you do.
You aren’t willing to do your own research into topics, technology, or terminology that we don’t have time to get into during the group calls.
Feel intimidated or uncomfortable by transparency, vulnerability, and your or other people’s feelings.
Are looking for a business/mentorship program that “guarantees” you will make money fast.
You prefer to “stay out of politics.”
You do not support sex workers or believe sex work is work.
You consider yourself to be “gender critical” or believe that identity-specific words like “cisgender” are offensive.
You don’t believe that privilege — especially white privilege — exists.
What if I still have questions?
Email us anytime at hello@everyonedeservessexed.com. We will respond within 72 business hours.
What if I have a complaint or grievance?
Grievances and complaints must be submitted by email to hello@everyonedeservessexed.com. EDSE's Administrative Support team will respond to the participant within 72 hours. All grievances and related communication must be sent to hello@everyonedeservessexed.com; anything sent directly to the Program Administrator via email, social media, private messages, or other public commentary will not be responded to.
